The Russian DX is really fun! At the last minute we decided to throw an M/M oeration together. Condx were fairly good. Loud signals on the low bands but might be expected 80 and 160 were a bit noisy. Good activity. Not sure what appened to us on ten but we obviously dropped the ball there. Thanks to veryone for the Qs and to NR4M & Co. for the hospitality!

Frustrating, but I had fun. State/Prov count is WAY down. My station is not set up for domestic contesting, with the LOWEST 10 meter antenna I could point west, being at 120 feet! I could have hung a inv vee across the dog and it would have been a better antenna. Was all pumped before the contest Saturday evening because I was working lots of JA's.

We used the IARU as a vehicle to give a logging program a decent evaluation. Not having at least an M/2 category or use of a second station working mults only made this contest somewhat frustrating under present condx. Multipliers would show up on 10M but weren't around long enough to put a list together to make the ten minute investment worthwhile.
